Its So Hard To Play

hell cat on mobile

Man I'd love to do that, but it'd probably require a complete rewrite of the game lol

Very nicely done. Can I suggest a volume slider? O r even volume setting that just uses an integer?

I don't think I can do that sadly, the way Pico-8's music works makes it impossible of not extremely hard to change the volume ingame, sorry

epic!

Hiii, I've made a video and got more than 11000 ;), but what I really wanted to share was some feedback about the game, hopefully it's useful to you :D

-The main idea of the game is pretty good and challenging

-The gameplay mechanics and the enemies are pretty well done, setting up a very good challenge based on an "easy to learn, hard to master" dynamic.

-Visually the game looks very well and I really liked it.

-I would increase the difficulty of the game by adding extra enemies/hazards on the level every 2 minutes the player stills alive as I actually felt that the difficulty of the game wasn't increassing a lot.

Hopefully this is useful to you :D, also if you could subscribe that would help me a lot :)

Regards

Thank you! A difficulty spine like that sounds pretty good

You are welcome ^^

Simple but addictive game! I think if I had to nitpick, the hit detection on the skull enemy felt a little off at times. Other than that, really fun! Perfect game to set some goals for yourself and see if you can achieve them. (EX: Beat the game with a score of 5000 and 3 minutes on the clock.)

Thanks! I think I messed up some parameters on the skull collision so I'll try to fix it if I ever update the game
